Another Go At It
May 9, 2007 by Eliza Devroe
So, here I am over a year since starting my initial diet and I am not at my goal. I lost over 40lbs. but unfortunately gained 14 of it back. Ugh. So, I was still down 26 lbs. I guess I should still be happy about that. Last week I decided to quietly start, in case I failed, no one would know. I lost 5 pounds since then. I feel somewhat back on track even though dieting is always a struggle. So, as of yesterday, 31lbs off overall. Better than none. I am not sure what I will feel comfortable at, but I will have to see as I go down. I am thinking an additional 30-40lbs. We’ll see.
All I want is to be comfortable in a pair of shorts and a tank top for the summer. Hopefully I can pull it off before the snow starts to fly. ugh.
I posted this so when you see me yearning for that piece of pizza, you’ll stop me.
Welcome back to the diet! You can do it! I’ve got faith.
eliza you’ve done A LOT.. 31lb is nothing short of AWESOME
keep it up
Thanks for the support Colin and Josue! I sure need it!
I’m with you Eliza - back on the diet band wagon!!! We can help each other out.
Hi Melanie! Can’t wait to see you guys! I need to lose like 30 more. UGH! How are you doing on yours?
I’m getting there. It’s slow, but I’m trying to do weight watchers with my mom. She’s lost over 30 pounds and so she’s helping me figure out the points and all that good stuff. One of these days I’ll get back to posting blogs and updating everyone!
Can’t wait to see you guys either… just a month to go
Good for you Eliza. I’m glad to hear you’re pushing towards your goal again. Like Josue said, the progress you’ve made already is certainly nothing to sneeze at. Also, don’t be afraid of making any slip ups, just ask Colin, James, or myself, we’ve all done it and it’s not as bad as you think. Just have to get back on the proverbial horse and start again.
