What a Week!
July 28, 2006 by Eliza Devroe
Among the eleven of us, we managed to get: a swollen ankle/foot due to bug bites, a rashy red face, not one, but two bee stings, two swollen eyes, locked keys in a car, a huge gash above the eye, almost requiring stitches, a plane delay of an hour and a half, and the most fierce lightning storm you can imagine, which killed a dog while we were there. Oh and somebody threw up too.
Other than that, what a great camping trip!
What are some of the craziest things that have happened to you all at once?
Once in high school my teacher took us to this river nearby, when we got there we saw like a house made of boxes, and old cloth and other stuff lying around. Next thing we knew, this guy came in from behind us with a gun on his hand screaming and shit, most of my classmates started to run but he grabbed one of the girls. As I was running I looked back and saw her, I stopped and stared at the guy (who had a gun on his hand!) and then went back, I tried to hide in some bushes and started throwing rocks at the guy and actually hit him in the head with one (a huge rock, he fell), I grabbed the girls hand and got her out of there, the guy was getting back on his feet but thank god didn’t do anything, he was drunk.
It was incredibly stupid of me to do that, looking back I wonder what could have happened to us. Is that crazy enough for ya?
What a week indeed.
Josue is a hero?!! haha.
Wow Josue, I’m impressed. That sounds scary. How old were you?
Yup, definitely sounds like quick a week indeed.
